It is pretty obvious that every one who starts a blog would love to receive more visitors. This post basically provides tips on increasing the traffic to a blog, especially aimed at blogs hosted on Blogger/B domains. Although, there are various methods that one could adopt to increase their blog traffic, the following methods would give you a better edge when compared to the others. More over, I have personally implemented these techniques on my blog and I could see the improvement with my blog traffic. So, why not, you try the same on your blog???
1. Driving Traffic through Images - I always recommend adding a picture to each and every article you publish on your blog. I always believe that pictures convey more than what the text does. Apart from attracting the visitors attention, the images will drive you more traffic provided they are configured correctly. When you post an image on blogger, ensure that you make use of the 'alt' and 'title' tags in your HTML. Moreover, these tags improve the SEO for your blog.
2. Creating A Cluster Of Links - This idea is to create a group of links that point to a page or post in your blog for certain keywords which you are working on. For example, let us say that, you are working on the keyword "Free Premium Blogger Templates", then make sure you publish posts using that keyword and link all of them to one page. Or you can even create a cycle of links, that is, first post linking the second. Second post linking the third. And the third again linking to the first. Apart from driving more traffic, this cyclic process of linking will enormously increase your internal links which in turn, will significantly contribute to increasing the PR of your blog.
3. Adding Meta Tags To Each Blogger Post - With respect to this tip, I assume that you have added the title tags and meta tags for your blog and made it SEO friendly. If not, visit the following links and configure them before you proceed with this step.

As the breadcrumb navigation works the principle of labels in your blog, it acts as a keyword to your blog and drives traffic via the search engines. 5. Ping Your Blog On A Regular Basis - Every time you publish a post, it is not guaranteed that the search engine robots will instantly index your post. Google indexes the posts faster but what about Yahoo or MSN, you never know when they will do it. To solve this problem, you can use Ping-o-matic, a free service that will invite the robots instantly as you want. But, please make sure that you use this service only after you publish a new content on your blog.
